Yep, Cal's blog is plagued with nitwits, misogynists, and grumpy old men. It's a shameful reality. Take a look at comments in Washington Post articles and you'll see their counterparts. Our country is full of 'em.
But his blog also viewed by a large, educated, rational silent set who rely on his and John Lopez's posts to provide another perspective to the dearth of quality information available to McHenry County.
It's interesting how you characterize tax watchers, as if holding taxing agencies accountable is a bad thing.
He's honorable enough to admit mistakes and make corrections. You might strive for the same approach rather than resorting to juvenile criticisms that make you look insecure.
