Rachel Bronson, Executive Director and Publisher of the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists will discuss how issues of nuclear arms, energy, and climate change impact the stability and future of countries around the globe. She will make her presentation, The 2017 Doomsday Clock: Why the Time Matters. The Doomsday Clock, first introduced by the Bulletin 70 years ago, is an iconic graphic that warns the public about how close we are to destroying our world with dangerous technologies of our own making.
